Main research interests
The main field of studies is the interconnection of gene expression regulation and chromatin structure in the Drosophila model organism. There are also methodological publications related to chromatin immunoprecipitation technique and combined visualization of different types of molecules using fluorescent microscopy.
Results of the studies of mechanisms of Polycomb-mediated genes repression (2000-2004), links between piRNA system and chromatin structure (2005-2014) and peculiarities of heterochomatin position effect variegation (2006-current) are presented in the publications list below.
