Main research interests
Circular RNAs of sphingomyelin synthase gene have been found and studied in human and rodent tissues. The results were obtained on the features of the formation of the structure and expression of circular RNA in adult and embryonic tissues.
The analysis of the effect of the regulatory peptides on the transcriptome under the conditions of experimental cerebral ischemia was carried out. Signaling pathways and biological processes have been identified that are associated with the response of brain cells to the effect of peptides. The study revealed the neuroprotective properties of these peptides under ischemia conditions.
At present, studies of the role of noncoding RNAs under ischemia, stress-induced impairment of memory and behaviour, as well as under the action of regulatory peptides of various structures are ongoing.
